After they announce their engagement, Kyung-ja dismisses the staff and non-family members from the room. Min-hwan is the one exception, of course, and even though he and Ha-ri aren’t allies, they both express their doubt over Kang-wook and Yeo-ri’s relationship. It doesn’t help matters that the fake couple didn’t bother to get their stories or timelines straight before dinner, so they flub through the family interrogation like an only child with no siblings to blame a broken lamp on.
